#COVID-19 Migrant Welfare Package

What is it about: To raise funds for the welfare package to support migrant workers who may not have access to essentials such as sanitizers, masks, oil and rice

How can you help: Donate min. $15 for either a learning application, books or hoiday food hamper for migrant workers

Covid Migrant Support Coalition (CMSC)

What is it about: 2. Hospitals need Tamil and Bengali interpreters to support medical teams at dormitories for 2 weeks from 13 April. Being able to communicate with medical teams in their own language will ensure that our migrant friends get the best medical care possible.

How can you help: If you know how to speak Tamil or Bengali, you can contact/WhatsApp Subha at +65 8611 1093 for more details. You will be supporting medical personnel at the dormitories in AM/PM shifts. Personal protective equipment (PPE), scrubs and shower facilities will be provided.

Migrant Health Relief Fund

What is it about: A designated fund set up on 12th March 2020 in response to the COVID-19 outbreak in Singapore to support HealthServe driven initiatives and low wage or disadvantaged migrant communities. Funds that remain unused during the COVID-19 Public Health emergency will be utilized for future public health emergencies and outbreaks

How can you help: Donate any amount on the website or contribute any donations-in-kind for COVID-19 prevention for their clinics such as: - N95 Masks - Medical Gowns - Face shields/visors

Care Meals & Essentials

What is it about: A campaign started for Good Friday Care Meals for Guest Workers has now extended to provide care meals and essential supplies such as masks, food items, sanitisers during this circuit breaker period.

How can you help: To continue supporting efforts in assisting these guest workers, you can make an online donation through PayNow QR code in the (next link). Alternatively, cheque donations can be addressed to Hope Initiative Alliance, 101 Eunos Avenue 3, #07-10, Singapore 409835.

COVID-19 Related Translations (Bengali)

What is it about: A free resource tailored for all medical practitioners in Singapore in light of the recent COVID-19 outbreak in migrant worker dormitories, and contributed by individual community members volunteering by translating for the Community Isolation Facility in Expo.

What is it about: Call Home is an app for migrant workers to call their families back home from 3G to landline calls. Built with love from Singapore.
